In short

At Yani's Tutoring a 50-minute one-on-one session is $70, in person or online. The Weekly Package is $240 a month for four sessions, and new students can start with a $60 Midterm Special through December 31, 2026. There are no contracts and no registration fee.

What You Pay At Yani's Tutoring

  • Single Session: $70 for 50 minutes, one on one, in person or online. No commitment.
  • Weekly Package: $240 a month for four sessions, which saves $40 against four single sessions and holds a standing slot in my schedule.
  • Midterm Special: $60 for a first session, new students only, booked by December 31, 2026.

In person and online cost the same, and there is no registration fee. You pay for the sessions you book, month to month.

What Changes The Price Of Tutoring In General?

When parents compare tutors around Palm Beach County, four things move the number more than anything else.

  • Who is teaching. A certified classroom teacher costs more than a college student or a peer tutor, because you are paying for someone who knows the course, the standards and the tests, not just the math.
  • One on one or a group. Small-group and center-based programs are cheaper per hour, and every student gets a fraction of the attention.
  • In your home or in theirs. Travel time is built into the price of in-home tutoring with many services.
  • Test prep packages. EOC and FAST prep is often sold as a package at a premium. I price it like every other session.

How Many Sessions Does A Student Usually Need?

It depends on the goal. A student who is doing fine but has a hard test coming up may need two or three sessions in the weeks before it. A student who has fallen behind in Algebra usually needs a weekly session for a semester so we can close the gap and then stay ahead of the class. I tell you which one your child is after the first session, in plain language, and I will say so if tutoring is not the right fix.

Is The Weekly Package Worth It?

For a student who needs steady support, yes. Four sessions for $240 is $60 each instead of $70, and the standing slot matters more than the discount: consistency is what turns a confused student into a confident one. For exam-only help, single sessions are the better fit.

What Is Included In Every Session

  • A plan built from your child's actual class, assignments and the next test.
  • The method worked out loud, with the reason for every step written next to it.
  • A plain summary for you afterward: what we covered, what to practice this week and what is coming next.
  • Online sessions: the shared whiteboard notes, saved and sent after the session.

How To Start

Book a free 15-minute consult. You tell me about the class and the next test, I tell you honestly whether I am the right fit, and we pick a first session, either a single session or the Midterm Special.

Is online tutoring cheaper than in person?

No. Both are $70 per 50-minute session. Online saves the drive, not the price, and the teaching is the same.

Is there a contract or a registration fee?

No. Single sessions are booked one at a time, and the Weekly Package is month to month.

Do you offer a trial?

Yes. Start with a single session or, if your child is new, the $60 Midterm Special, and move to the Weekly Package only if it is a fit.
