The Same Teacher, On Your Screen.
Live one-on-one video sessions with a digital whiteboard and shared notes. Same 50 minutes, same patient explanations, no drive.

Online math tutoring at Yani's Tutoring is a live, one-on-one video session with a certified 6 to 12 math teacher on a shared digital whiteboard, with the notes sent to you afterward. It covers every subject on this site, from elementary math to College Algebra, costs the same $70 per 50-minute session as in person, and works for students anywhere in Florida or beyond.
How Online Sessions Work
A real whiteboard, not a webcam
We work on a shared digital whiteboard your child can write on too. Everything we write is saved and sent after the session.
What you need
A laptop or tablet, a quiet spot and the class materials. A stylus or tablet helps for geometry, but a mouse works.
Flexible for busy weeks
Travel week, sick day, sports season: an in-person student can switch to online without losing the slot.
Every Subject, Online
Everything on the subjects pages is available online.

Questions About Online Tutoring
Is online tutoring as effective as in person?
For most students from about 5th grade up, yes, and for advanced math it is often better because the whiteboard, the notes and the problem sets are all in one place. Younger students usually do best in person or online with a parent nearby at first.
What platform do you use?
Zoom, plus a shared digital whiteboard your child can write on too. The meeting link and passcode arrive in your confirmation email; nothing to install beyond Zoom or the browser.
What does my child need for an online session?
A laptop or tablet with a camera, a quiet spot, the class materials and a calculator if the class uses one. A stylus or touchscreen helps for geometry, but a mouse works.
Can we mix in-person and online sessions?
Yes. In-person sessions are at the Wellington Branch Library, and families switch to online for travel weeks, sick days and busy sports seasons without losing their slot.
