Precalculus And College Algebra.
Functions in depth, trigonometry, logarithms, sequences and the problem-solving habits that carry into calculus and college courses.

Precalculus and College Algebra tutoring is one-on-one help with functions in depth, trigonometry, logarithms, sequences and series, conics and the problem-solving habits that carry into calculus and college courses. It fits high school Precalculus and Precalculus Honors, dual enrollment College Algebra and first-year college students, in person around West Palm Beach or online.
What Sessions Cover
Taught from your child's actual class, in the order the class moves.
- Polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions
- Trigonometry: the unit circle, identities, graphs and equations
- Sequences, series and the binomial theorem
- Conic sections, vectors and matrices as the course requires
- College Algebra for dual enrollment and first-year college students
- Study systems for long problem sets and cumulative exams
How We Work
Depth over tricks
At this level the shortcuts run out. We build real understanding of functions so each new chapter is a variation, not a surprise.
Exam strategy
Cumulative tests reward planning. We practice pacing, partial credit and knowing which problems to do first.
Online works well here
A digital whiteboard and shared notes make advanced math easy to tutor online, on your schedule.
Questions About Precalculus and College Algebra
Do you tutor dual enrollment College Algebra?
Yes. Dual enrollment College Algebra moves faster than a high school course and the grade goes on a college transcript, so we work from the syllabus and the professor's problem sets.
Is Precalculus tutoring useful if my child plans to take AP Calculus?
It is the best preparation there is. Nearly every early calculus struggle traces back to functions, trigonometry or algebraic manipulation, which is exactly what Precalculus builds.
How do you prepare students for cumulative exams?
With a plan. We map the exam topics, schedule mixed practice rather than one topic at a time, and practice pacing and partial credit so a long exam feels familiar.
Can college students book sessions?
Yes. College Algebra, Precalculus and similar courses are a regular part of my tutoring, in person or online, scheduled around classes and work.
